Hi! I’m Julie.

I’ve been a Spoonie for over 20 years. My experience living with mitochondrial disease has taught me a thing or two about energy management (“spoon” management).

I’m also a real data geek, a very PRECISE Spoonie, so I decided to give Spoon Theory a bit of a makeover in order to help you count your “spoons” more objectively and reliably (see Spoon Theory 2.0).

Plus, I created The LEFTOVER SPOONS CHALLENGE which takes you through a 9-step process, in 6 weeks, to help you learn how to: “Manage Your Energy to LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE!!!”

In creating The LEFTOVER SPOONS CHALLENGE, I ended up producing a series of easy-to-use worksheets.

And for people who enjoy personality tests and appreciate more personalized advice, I developed a fun quiz that divides Spoonies into 4 different types: BUBBLY Spoonies, HELPFUL Spoonies, DRIVEN Spoonies, and PRECISE Spoonies.
